Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is an amazing Hollywood actress and author who's talents have brought her critical acclaim and recognition. She's the daughter of a Sagittarius born on December 3, 1960, in North Carolina. She's one of the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a parachutist. Her parents are English, Scottish and of mixed descent. Because of her father's work, the Moore family moved a lot and she had to work hard to make friendships or maintain ones. Moore was a stage actor in the year she attended Frankfurt American High School when her family relocated to Germany. The school she attended was Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. A thesis on Theater. Moore made the move to New York after graduating and began her career with off-broadway theatre. She made an appearance on the screen for the first time in The Edge of Night. She performed the double role as Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns the show that marked her debut. In 1988, she played an actor on the show, and won a Daytime Emmy Award. The film she made her debut in 1990 with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie the film she described later as a shambles low-budget production. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), as well as 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) were among her movies. The former was critically acclaimed and she earned several nominations for the film. Moore was offered her first lead role with the film Safe (1995). In 1997, her career as an actress was at a crossroads as Steven Spielberg cast her to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was one of the top-grossing films in 1997. In 1999, she was a part of the critically acclaimed Magnolia and was awarded an SAG Award nomination in recognition of her work. In 2002, she starred alongside her co-stars in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore has also appeared in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop, a film that she starred in, was released. Moore has appeared in numerous movies and television shows. The most recent of her leading roles is in 2022, When You Finish Securing the World. She's established herself in Hollywood in addition to being a bestselling author of children's books. She published her first book Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and it became a N.Y.T. This best-seller was turned into a film, a series and even a musical. She also published My Mom's a Foreigner in the year 2013. Moore's private life has been made public as a highly accomplished author and actor. In 1984 she married John Robin and in 1995 they divorced. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore later married in 2003, has two kids with her. Moore's main focus is her family, friends and her work.
